The creed cited by Harb bin Ismãil al-Kirmāni (d. 280H) from the Imâms of the Sunnah of the second century Hijrah is found within his larger work titled, Masail Harb. This work was described by Imãm al-Dhahabi as "from the most precious of the books of the Hanbalis" and comprises issues of jurisprudence, creed and knowledge of the narrators of hadith which Harb took from Imām Ahmad and Ishãq bin Rähüyah.
